Education is a human right.

We believe in access for all. Together.

Making educational support accessible for more children

There is a gap in educational equity. Not all students have access to educational supports, like tutoring. Children, teens, and young adults in foster care have so much going on in their lives, and support can help them keep up during these hard times.

Whether they’re falling behind and need a hand, they need help with their English in order to fully understand their classes, or they just need someone’s assistance to figure out where to start… we want to help.

We were founded after being inspired by the opportunity to reach out to populations who cannot afford these services but who may benefit from tutoring. Together we can work to make education more accessible and open the door to learning.

How can I support TriTogether?

We welcome volunteers (whether tutors or another involvement) or direct donations. We will be working on an Amazon Wishlist as well. We appreciate your support!

FAQs

  • “Tri” comes from the learning triangle that Hannah has developed during her time tutoring. The triangle includes: student effort, fundamentals, and strategies. All three are harder to maintain during stressful situations, which is why we must come “Together” to learn!

  • Tutoring sessions are held on Zoom. A student meets with their tutor for an hour to cover topics they feel behind on, to review concepts they’re covering school, to walk through material they’re about to be tested on, or to get organized! In summary: sessions with TriTogether look differently depending on what a student needs.

  • TriTogether is in its early stages. What does that mean for you? It means there are plenty of ways to get involved. Whether you want to volunteer as a tutor, lend some expertise in nonprofit work, or share some ideas you have that could help us, we’re sure you can contribute.

Maybe you even work as a social worker or counselor with students who could use our support.

If you would like to volunteer, please fill out our Volunteer Application.

Otherwise, email info@tritogether.org to get in touch!

  • We are! We are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit, and we are approved by the Massachusetts Attorney General as a Public Nonprofit.
